Violet Studio is a vegan nonprofit graphic design studio dedicated to supporting animal advocacy organizations through strong, impactful design. Their goal in working with me was to create a streamlined, easy-to-use presentation template that allowed both designers and non-designers on their team to quickly build visually cohesive slide decks without having to start from scratch each time.
The Challenge
The team at Violet Studio was spending too much time manually creating new presentations from the ground up for each pitch or presentation. Without a standardized template, branding inconsistencies crept in, and team members—especially non-designers—found it frustrating to piece together slides that aligned with their brand identity. No one had the bandwidth to create a fully functional template that worked across different team members' needs.
How I Solved the Problem
I designed a slide template tailored to Violet Studio’s branding and workflow needs. Since they preferred Google Slides over PowerPoint, I accounted for the platform’s specific capabilities while ensuring maximum flexibility. The template provided ready-to-use, aesthetically pleasing layouts that were easy for both designers and non-designers to work with, allowing them to create polished presentations without overthinking design decisions.
The Results
Presentation creation time was cut by at least 50%, allowing the team to focus on more impactful work for their organization and clients.
